Time Lapse

I was away
Living life to the fullest
experiencing it without a camera or a pen
surely I did take some pictures and write some things down
But not merely as much as what has been charecteristic of me
in past years full of days with hours with 60 jeweled minutes
and many seconds which picture captures
I clicked and scribbled away
I don't have too much evidence of all that was experienced this past year
Not much evidence but my mind and that of others who shared such experiences with me

I think I will stop with all my abstract intentions and begin to elaborate again.
Elaborate moments of written thought and record seconds of captured light through camera's lense!
...I have to fix my camera first though for that part to happen :)

Update:
~Still at FCC
~Still loving the Life Group Bible study I'm a part of; currently studying the book of John together. Changes within the group: Two couples have married, and two other married couples have had their second child, so our group has grown.
~I have three different roommates now than what I had this time last year, and all three have contributed to the quality of my life in a positive way since we have lived under the same roof.
~Five unexpected events that really changed my short term course of life
  1. Aunty Cindy passing away - and learning to trust God's soveriegnty
  2. Uncle Tony passing away - and the first real God glorifying funeral I have been to
  3. Getting a second degree burn on my foot that required special care and time off of my feet
  4. Getting laid-off my job - Unemployment - Getting a new and better Job!
  5. My nephew Dominic was born six weeks early

~All of my older siblings had a baby, which means I have two new nephews and one new neice... Our family never ceases to grow!

~Roadtrip through the south and making it to the eastcoast for the first time with the company of one of my favorite couples, whom I gave permission to let me be 3rd wheel, but they absolutely refused and didn't want me to feel left out. Truly awesome friends!

~Experiencing southern hospitality in the actual south, a first!
~Rude awakening after talking about not understanding the realities of hell with a best friend and then getting badly burned two days later. The painful burn helped reduce that lack of understanding I've had of hell a bit. God truly did choose the most painful punishment, and justly so. The burn was only on my foot, only for a moment, not my whole being, and not forever. I have been saved from much. Hell is a reality for most people out there and my life needs to be about sharing the gospel and warning people of what is to come if they don't repent and turn to God. Turning to God is the best thing that ever happened to me, and it is the best thing that could ever happen to the world.

Life is lived a little differently because of all of these things.

Thankful.
Thankful to still be here.
Thankful to one day not be here, but to be somewhere better than the best my mind can fathom.
